Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Facial for
Skin Rejuvenation and Collagen Stimulation
Platelet Rich Plasma or “PRP” can be used to treat a variety of different skin concerns including tired dry skin, poor skin laxity, uneven pigmentation, wrinkles, dark under eye circles, acne scars, and poor skin texture.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a concentrated solution of our body’s own healing factors. It is often referred to as “Liquid Gold” due to its therapeutic properties.
How do the treatments work?
A small vial of your blood is extracted and then spun in a medical centrifuge which separates the PRP from your blood cells. The separated PRP is then harvested and infused into the treatment area.
What happens during the treatment?
Your treatment will include an LED Light Therapy session first. This helps to reduce your post treatment redness and inflammation and increase lymphatic flow reducing the risk of infection post treatment. The PRP is then infused into the skin via a microneedling treatment. If needed direct injections can also be used to rejuvenate specific areas like dark under eyes.
